Ways to Participate
The Province is undertaking a round of community engagement with coastal communities in 2013. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure will engage coastal communities and ferry users from across the province on strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of the coastal ferry network.
You can participate by attending community engagement events (small group meeting or public open house), reading the Discussion Guide, completing an online Feedback Form, submitting a written submission, or participating in a webinar.
This phase of the BC Coastal Ferries Community Engagement seeks input on:
- SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS
- SENIORS' DISCOUNTS
- GAMING PILOT PROJECT
- RESERVATION SYSTEM, TIME-OF-DAY PRICING, AND LOYALTY PROGRAMS
- SUPPLEMENTAL PRIVATE PASSENGER-ONLY SERVICE
Input received through this engagement will be considered along with technical, financial and policy considerations as the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and BC Ferries plan for the long-term sustainability of the coastal transportation network.
Public Open House Schedule
The first 90 minutes will be a public open house. The second 90 minutes will be a question and answer session. No RSVP is required for public open houses.
