A Consultation and Engagement on the B.C. Coastal Ferry System

Thank you for your interest in the BC Coastal Ferries Consultation and Engagement. This consultation and engagement is now closed. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure undertook consultation from October 29 to December 21, 2021 to gather stakeholder and public input on elements of the government's vision of connecting coastal communities in an affordable, efficient and sustainable manner, as well as considerations to address the immediate challenges facing the coastal ferry system.

Input received through the engagement will be considered, along with technical, financial and policy information, as the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and BC Ferries plan for the long-term sustainability of the coastal transportation network.

On March 5, 2013, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure issued a News Release on the Consultation and Engagement Summary Report.
